Decorative yet functional, these stoles and scarves give you a cozy place to put your hands. You'll want to make several in different fibers and colors.
Sizes:
Stole: 18" wide and from 64" to 72" long.
Scarf: 10" wide and 64" long.
The longer length is suggested for the optional crossover version of the stole.
Yarn Requirements:
For lace versions use a light-worsted or DK weight yarn.
900 yards for stole and 525 yards for scarf, including tassels.
For solid versions choose a bulky weight yarn.
775 yards for stole and 450 yards for scarf, including tassels.
Needles:
Lace version: Size 7 (4.5 mm) needles.
Solid version: Size 11 (8 mm) needles.
Suggested Yarns:
Lace Version: Aspire DK, Merino et soie 8ply, Me 8ply
Solid Version: Alpine, Naturelle or Tussock in 14ply (bulky)
