Feeling like some nutty company? What could be better than a squirrel or two knit and felted in worsted weight yarn.
Size: From 6" to 9" (15 to 23 cm) tall.
Size will vary with yarn used and the amount of felting.
Yarn Requirements:
Choose a worsted weight (10 ply) yarn that will felt easily and firmly and a thick "fur-like" synthetic novelty yarn.
Yardage:
160 yards (147 meters) main color (A);
25 yards (23 meters) contrast color (B);
50 yards (46 meters) of the novelty yarn.
Needles: US size 10.5 (6.5mm) 16" (40cm) circular and a set of double pointed needles in US size 11 (8mm).
Shown in Naturelle 10 ply #154 (color A) and Tussock 10 ply #161 (color B), with Temptation #912 for the tail "fur".
