Exact finished size will vary some with different yarns and the amount of felting.
Yarn Requirements: Choose a light worsted or DK wool or alpaca that will felt easily.
Pair of booties requires 70 (85, 95) yds (64 (78, 87) meters) of MC and 35 (40, 45) yds (32 (37, 41) meters) of contrast for ears and cuff.
10 yds of smooth, colorfast waste cotton.
Bunny tails require an extra 20 yds (18m).
For puppy tongues, 1 yd (1m) of a red sport wool that will felt.
Small amounts of embroidery floss for nose and eyes.
Needles: US size 8 (5 mm) and 10 (6 mm) straight and a set of double pointed needles in size 5 (3.75mm).
Gauge: Approximately 15 sts to 4" (10cm) before felting.
