Easy, close-fitting, unisex hat worked in k2, p2 rib with matching long scarf.
Choose worsted, bulky or super bulky yarn.
Finished size:
Ribbed hat will fit head sizes from 21" (53 cm) to 24" (61 cm). Gauge may be adjusted by going up or down a needle size to fit larger or smaller heads.
Scarf measures 8" (20 cm) by 84" (213 cm), blocked.
Yarn Requirements:
Super Bulky: 60 yds (55m) for hat and 200 yds (183m) for scarf
Bulky: 90 yds (82m) for hat and 300 yds (274m) for scarf
Worsted: 125 yds (114m) for hat and 420 yds (384m) for scarf
Suggested Naturally Yarns: For worsted weight choose any 10 ply wool, for bulky weight choose a 14ply or use Aspire Super Chunky for a really quick knit.
