Simple to do yet intriguing to look at, this scarf can be expanded to create a stole or even an afghan. Directions for each of these included in the pattern.
Sizes: Approximately 7.5" x 64" (21.5" x 68", 49.5" x 59").
Yarn Requirements:
Sport weight yarn, approximately 700 yds (2100 yds, 4200 yds). This light weight yarn knit on larger than normal needles is needed to maintain drape in ribbing and cables. A wool or other natural fiber is recommended to allow for proper blocking.
Needles: Sizes 5 (3.75 mm) and 8 (5 mm) needles.
Other Supplies: Cable needle; Stitch markers.
Gauge: Each 8-st cable = 1" in pattern after blocking.
Suggested Naturally Yarns: Merino et soie 8ply Aspire DK or ME (merino/cashmere)
