Needle sizes:
For 4 ply (baby wt): US 2 & 3 (2.5 mm & 3.25 mm) straight needles, US 3 double points for collar.
For 8 ply (DK wt): US 3 & 5 (3.25mm & 3.75mm) straight needles, US 5 double points for collar.
Gauge:
In 4ply: 28 sts and 36 rows over stockinette stitch = 4 inches / 10cm.
In 8ply: 22 sts and 30 rows over stockinette stitch = 4 inches / 10cm.
Yarn Requirements for jacket and hat:
In Classic Prints 4 ply: 2 (2, 3, 3) skeins.
