Made with or without a hood, both with a cozy shawl collar front, this poncho will be a stylish addition to any girl's wardrobe.
Sizes: 4/6 (8/10, 12/14)
Loose fitting, this poncho will fit a child for several years.
Yarn Requirements: Worsted weight yarn.
Poncho with hood requires approx 450 (600, 725) yds of color A (purple), 400 (450, 500) yds of color B (teal), and 120 (140, 160) yds of color C (pink).
A poncho with a collar instead of a hood will require approximately 300 (350, 400) yds of color B.
Shown in Lamb's Pride Superwash worsted weight from Brown Sheep Co.
Needles: US size 7 (4.5 mm) 29" (80 cm) circular needle for body of poncho and a 36" or 40" (100 or 110 cm) circular for border.
Gauge: 18 sts and 22 rows = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette.
Suggested Naturally Yarns: Any of the 10ply (worsted wt) wools.
