Size: 12" to 13" and 7" to 8" deep. Yarn choice and amount of felting will affect finished size.
Yarn Requirements: 210 yards each of a wool and a mohair that together will felt easily. A second strand of wool may be used in place of the mohair.
Needles: US size 11 (8mm) circular needle in 16" (40cm) and 24" (60cm) lengths.
Two double pointed needles in US size 11 (8mm).
Unfelted Gauge: Approx 11 sts = 4" (10cm) in stockinette stitch on size 11 (8mm) needles.
Shown in JJ's handpainted Gelato and Kaleidoscope wool and matching brushed mohair. JJ's Mystique Mohair Boucle may be substituted for the brushed mohair to give a nice texture to the felt.
