Fiber Trends Pattern AC80
Design by Eugen K. Beugler
Like leaves floating down a stream, slanting lines of leaf lace alternate with ripples of openwork on this lace scarf.
It is a lovely reminder that sometimes in life we should relax and go with the flow.
Fun to knit, the lace is easy enough for the adventurous beginner.
Sample scarf was knit in DK weight yarn, but this design also looks great in other yarn weights.
Blocked Size: In yarn shown, about 10" wide and 60" long.
Needles: US size 6 (4 mm)
Gauge: 20 sts = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette stitch.
May be knit at a looser or tighter gauge, remembering that this will change the width and will effect yardage used.
Yarn Requirements:
Scarf requires about 280 yards of DK or sport weight yarn.
