The simple traveling stitch pattern repeats over 6 rounds and alternates with purl stitches to create ribbed socks with a close, comfortable fit. A subtle way to express love, these socks make great gifts.
Instructions for three weights of yarns.
Size: Average Adult. Adjust length to fit foot.
Yarn & Needle Requirements:
Fingering weight: approximately 380 yds (347m);
US size 1 (2.25mm) dp needles.
Sport weight: approximately 390 yds (266m);
US size 3 (3.25mm) dp needles.
Worsted weight: approximately 250 yds (229m);
US size 5 (3.75mm) dp needles.
