Shaped shawl or scarf featuring a lace center panel and narrow “feather & fan” lace edging. Knit from the outer edge to neck with attached, knitted cord top border.
Blocked Measurements:
Shawl: 16½“ (42cm) deep and 60” (152cm) along top edge.
Scarf: 9“ (23cm) deep and 32“ (81cm) along top.
Size will vary with yarn used and can easily be adjusted.
Needles: 40” (100cm) circular in US size 2 (2.5 or 2.75 mm), or size to obtain gauge. You may switch to a short circular as the shawl gets smaller.
Blocked Gauge: 28 sts = 4” (10cm) in stockinette.
Yarn Requirements: Choose either lace or fingering (4ply yarn.
Yardage required when knit to gauge given:
Shawl: 680 yards (623m); Scarf: 280 yards (256m).

Green Shawl: Dawn lace weight (50% silk, 50% wool) - 4 skeins.
Purple Scarf: Dawn lace weight - 2 skeins.
Multicolored Shawl:Trekking Pro Natura sock yarn from Skacel - 2 skeins.
Note: Working at a looser gauge will require more yardage and result in a larger finished size.
