Yarn Requirements: Use a light worsted weight yarn that knits to a gauge of 5 sts to 1" (2.5 cm)
Sweater: Approximately 340 (400) yards
Blanket: Approximately 1100 yards
Needles:
Sweater: size 5 (3.75 mm) 24" (60 cm) circular and straight needles
Blanket: size 7 (4.5 mm) 29" (80 cm) circular
Gauge:
Sweater: 20 sts = 4" (10 cm), in stockinette stitch
Blanket: 17 sts = 4" (10 cm), in pattern stitch
