Loose fitting, hooded baby jacket features a back zipper for easy on and off. The zipper begins at the back of the neck so baby's head will be comfortable in any position. Shawl collar adds extra cozy warmth. Knit without seams in easy garter rib pattern.
Sizes: 0-3 months (6-9 months, 12-15 months).
Yarn Requirements: 440 (520, 610) yards (402 (475, 558) meters) of main color and 90 (110, 130) yards (82 (101, 119) meters) contrast.
Use a light worsted weight yarn that will knit to the gauge given below.
Notions: Coilless pins; stitch holders; 12 (12, 14) inch (30 (30, 36) cm) nylon zipper.
Needles: US size 6 (4mm) circular and a set of double pointed (dp) needles in the same size for sleeves.
You will also need a US Size 8 (5mm) needle to cast off the collar.
Gauge: 20 sts = 4" (10cm) in stockinette stitch.
