Size: 40" x 40" (102 x 102 cm) when knit to the gauge given below.
Yarn Requirements: 925 yards (845m) color A;
525 yards (480m) color B; 800 yards (731m) color C.
Needles: US size 6 (4mm) needles.
You can use straight or circular needles for the strips.
For the borders, a 29" (80cm) or longer circular will work best.
Gauge: 17 sts and 17 ridges = 4" (10cm) in garter st.
