Knit either the classic stripe or sheep design stocking in worsted weight wool.

Sizes: If made in worsted weight yarn, stockings will measure about 17" (43cm) long and 7" (18cm) wide.
Yarn Requirements: Choose a worsted weight wool or other natural fiber that will felt easily.
Yardage Required:
Striped stocking, 200 yards (183m) of main color and 100 yards (91m) of contrast.
Sheep stocking, 200 yards (183m) of main color and 100 yards (91m) of sheep color plus a small amount of black for feet, ears, face and tail.
Needles: 16" (40cm) circular and a set of double pointed needles in US size 10.5 (6.5mm).
