Felt vest in 3 sizes. Knit in a single strand of worsted weight wool.

Sizes: Small, Medium and Large.
Approximate finished measurements 39" (42", 45").
Measurements will vary some with different yarns and with the amount of felting.
Yarn Requirements: Choose a worsted weight yarn that will felt easily.
Vest requires approximately 1000 (1100, 1200) yards total.
A contrasting border requires about 160 (190, 220) yards.
Gauge: Before felting, approximately 14 sts = 4" (10 cm).
After felting, 21 sts & 29 rows = 4½" x 3½" (11.5 x 9 cm). See notes on pattern insert about testing your felted gauge.
Needles: US size 10.5 (6.5 mm) 24" & 32" (60 & 80 cm) circular.
